Dr. YOU registered with New York State Bar Association after obtaining J.D. degree in 2014, and further qualified as Chinese Lawyer in 2019. Dr. You has worked as Chief Compliance Officer in a stated-private owned PE firm and worked closely with numerous financial institutions such as banks, investment banks, financial leasing companies, and local city investment companies. Dr. You and team served clients in various industries including Clean Energy, New Materials, Minerals, Cultural & Creative, Data Centers, Pharmaceutical and so on, in transactions including PE/VC Investment, Equity Incentive (ESOP), M&A, Asset Acquisition, Syndicated Loan, Securitization (ABS/ABN/CMBS), Investment-related Dispute Resolution and so on. Dr. You specializes in understanding client’s business and investment goals, accurately planning commercial and legal operations accordingly, while avoiding legal risks of investment and enterprise operations.

 

As to International Legal Service, Dr. You and team took charge of the China Legal Sector of a leading European law and audit firms since 2017, providing legal services to hundreds of European enterprise branches in China, conducting daily consultation, M&A, dispute resolution, as well as to whole process legal services in many cross-border M&A transactions.

 

In recent years, Dr. You and team have accumulated rich experiences in serving clients in clean energy and new materials industry, especially in the lithium battery industry chain, new form of batteries (solid-state batteries, sodium batteries, flow batteries) technology and related equipment and automation service providers.
